Pragmatic Semiconductor is a UK-based technology company specialising in flexible integrated circuits. Its FlexIC technology is thinner than a human hair and can be embedded into everyday objects, opening up new possibilities for low-cost intelligence across products, packaging and supply chains.

Working with Industry, Treble helped realise the strategic direction for the brand identity. The visual system was built around flexibility, precision and trust — reflecting both the innovation of the technology and the reliability required of a global semiconductor business.
The identity drew inspiration from Pragmatic’s distinctive gold-toned flexible wafers, using circular forms, material detail and close-up photography to create a recognisable visual language. Expressive supergraphics extended the system across digital, exhibition and communication applications.

A purposeful photography style avoided generic technology imagery, grounding the brand in real environments, process and engineering detail. The result was an identity system that felt innovative, adaptable and credible across multiple audiences and touchpoints.
The visual language drew from Pragmatic’s flexible wafer technology, turning material detail into a distinctive brand asset.
