The National Cyber Security Centre, part of GCHQ, is the UK’s technical authority for cybersecurity. Its 2024 Annual Review needed to communicate an evolving response to hostile activity in cyberspace while remaining clear, authoritative and accessible across government, industry and public audiences.
Working with M&C Saatchi, Treble designed the review around the theme “Threat-Led Resilience, Defending Democracy” — creating an editorial system for complex information, strategic messaging, metrics and public-facing communication.
The publication was reimagined through the visual logic of a live Python script, translating the language of cybersecurity into a structured editorial framework. Coding references, modular layouts, integrated metrics and data visualisations gave the review a distinctive tone while supporting clarity, pace and hierarchy throughout.
The result was a publication system that balanced technical authenticity with accessibility — reinforcing NCSC’s role in helping defend the UK’s digital landscape.
